- Took my product through a full product lifecycle, from ideation to adoption
- Conducted technical product interviews for a Senior PM role
Driving product vision for an eight person engineering team focused on making the lives of Microsoft engineers better by improving the experience of shipping bits, while also helping them deploy their builds more efficiently, safely, and reliably by automating away non-engineering overhead. Currently have full product ownership of our main offering, Intelligent Release Pipelines. My team is partnering with the Azure Pipeline & Infrastructure Engineering team from Cloud & AI to extend our retail product, Azure Pipelines, to suit the needs of an organization the size of Microsoft.
* My official title at Microsoft is actually Program Manager - originally the title Product Manager at Microsoft was a marketing role, so PMs at Microsoft are known internally as Program Managers
Helping people help startups.
W5 is a student led entrepreneurship club with a mission to help early stage founders get started on their entrepreneurship journey. If you've ever thought "I've got this great idea but I don't know where to start" then W5 is for you. We focus on building great founders - not perfect products. W5 is where things start, but not where they end.

Ran an accelerator program aimed at assisting aspiring entrepreneurs in turning their ideas into a business in 4 months with a focus on educating mentors, aligning goals and visions, and validating ideas quickly with a lean startup mentality. The program is capped off by the Pitch5 competition, where the accelerator startups compete for $10,000 in pre-seed funding.
Worked 1:1 with early stage startup founders to help them begin their entrepreneurship journey.
Participated in the Propel Summer Incubator. The accelerator program focused on growth marketing, and provided QEUE with $15,000 in funding.
Played 4 seasons with the Western Mustangs Men's Rugby Team while balancing academics, internships, part-time jobs, clubs and my startup career. A typical season ran from late August to mid-November, with off-season training between January and March.
An average in-season week included 2 hour long practices 5 days a week, 1 hour long film sessions up to 2 times a week, and 2 to 3 mandatory work-outs, culminating in 1 game day per week. Off-season was less rigid, with 2 to 3 mandatory work-outs, and 2 light practices a week.
Project Management - Data Analysis - Process Automation
Worked with the Process Improvement and Planning team in the Storage and Transmission division of Union Gas, a subsidiary of Enbridge – the operator of the longest crude oil transportation system in the world and the largest natural gas distribution network in Canada.
Introduced automation into the workflow to reduce "busy time". Collaborated with frontline workers, team leads, engineers and senior managers to introduce new safety processes. Improved KPI tracking and reporting by developing new tools.
Spent three seasons working with players to improve their technical abilities and overall understanding of the game, with the ultimate goal of giving back to the program that kick-started my own rugby career.
